“Humboldt’s Beaches and Lagoons are a great place to exercise and relax and they are relatively un-populated. Clam Beach, running the length of McKinleyville and Moonstone Beach near Westhaven are two of my favorites. If you are a horse back rider, Clam Beach is a great place to let your horse run. If you like to kayak, canoe, scull, surf, windsurf, fish, swim, raft or sail, our lagoons north of Trinidad, Humboldt Bay, and our rivers are all within easy access to anyone who lives on the North Coast.”
